The HMS Prince of Wales was involved in various historic engagements in the early stages of WWII, including the search for the Bismarck. Later, it became one of the first large vessels sunk by air forces when the Japanese bombers destroyed both the Prince of Wales and the HMS Repulse. This assembly set accurately reflects the warship during the Malaya battle in December 1941 with accurate details such as the bridge area and anti-aircraft weaponry. Additionally, the package consists of parts to construct the HMS's Supermarine Walrus seaplane, in addition to a Japanese G3M and G4M bomber (each 1).
